Our story
Since 1965
Canzler Tree Service Inc. is a local family-owned and operated tree service in Pierce County, Washington. Founded in 1965 by Richard P. Canzler with his wife serving as secretary, CTS field operations are currently headed by two of his sons, Tony and Danny.
CTS is a full service residential tree service specializing in removal, trimming, thinning, stump grinding, pruning, windsail reduction and view enhancement. The philosophy of CTS is, and always has been, to provide the best quality service at the most reasonable prices.
We have not hired out climbers or other tree "experts" to do the work for us but instead do it ourselves and take pride in our work. Like all businesses, we are in business to make money—but we have never tried to get rich at the expense of our customers. Our philosophy is simple—treat your customers right and they will keep coming back. That is why 80-90% of our work is for repeat customers or by referral.
Today, Tony and Danny carry on the same hands-on standards their father established, keeping Canzler Tree Services a true family operation for Tacoma and the surrounding counties.
